It’s it great for us to have friends around us? Friends forever will be a part of our life. No matter its new or old friends, wherever we go, or wherever we are now, friends always support us and console us when we are sad. Besides our dearest family, friends are like our second family. They know how to care, to love and to cheer us up. As for me, I’m so blessed because I have such a great friends, friends that were my classmate when I was in Form 5 and a group of newly met friends!

It’s such a great blessing that I received from God this year because when I was back in Malaysia, I had great time with my dearest friends. For this year, I’m turning into 21st. And guess what the gift that I receive from my friends? It’s something that is more precious than any material that the world yearns for. For me, the greatest gift that I receive is “THE MEMORIES OF PRECIOUS FRIENDSHIP”!!! I’m so happy that I have this present, because these memories from my friends will never fade away as it had rooted in my heart and mind forever and ever.

It had been 3 years I study in Ukraine, and only on my 3rd year of education, I went back to Malaysia for my summer holidays. During this short period, a lot of memories being imprinted in my life. To tell you the truth, I never tasted then true meaning of friendship until now. I can fell the zest just stream out within me, covered up all the sadness and tiredness that I brought back from Ukraine. I felt so refreshed and alive!

My old friends from Form 5, Yu Xuan, Bryan, and Shin Chin sure help me to discover the fun of eating in a “mamak stall”. Although it’s just a simple dinner, still it helps me to remember them as a part of my memories. And sure the food is one of my listed foods that I want to eat in Malaysia. Bryan was my class leader when I was in Form 5. For me, he is a responsible guy. Although he always seems to be busy, he still will make a free slot for his friends. And he will always try his best to complete the duty that are entrusted to him. I will never forget a brother who is responsible, helpful and nice like him. And for sure he is one of the great servants of our Lord.

For Yu Xuan, who was my best friend, it’s great that I can meet up with him once more. Indeed when we were in Form 5, we had a lot of great memories.. But those memories seem to be fading away days by days as we did not keep in touch. Sad though.. But think of the positive way, I did not lose him as a friend! As now I meet him back in Malaysia, I can continue to renew my memories about him. For me, now he seems have a very different personality, views and taste. It’s great though because I have a friend like him who dares to try to be different. I hope that our friendship will continue to grow and I hope when we meet next time, we will have a wonderful time chatting and play together! He is also another great servant of our Lord. Nice to have them as a brother in Christ!

My dearest caring friend, Shin Chin, is one of my best friend who always being there for me when I needed help. I still remember when I was in Form 5, she always help in everything. Even now, she helps me to plan the gathering that I had with my 5B’s classmate. It’s always fun for me to hang out with her. She will tell you all sort of cold jokes and suggest a lot of fun activities to play. This time, I feel so guilty because when I was back in Malaysia, I didn’t talk much with her. May be it’s because for few years we didn’t really see each other. But still, in my mind, she is my best, caring and fun friend that I ever have. Indeed I will miss the joyful time that I had with her last time in Form 5 and last summer!

A week before my flight, I had been in KL with my friends already. Thanks to my friend, Shin Chin, I manage to have a gathering with my old 5B’s classmate in Midvalley. For few weeks I desperately want to meet up with my entire great classmate. But in this gathering, not all present. What I wish for is to know each of them better as I didn’t had any chance to fellowship with them for the past 2 years.

Actually Shin Chin and the others plan to give me a birthday surprise during this gathering, but a few days before the actual gathering, one of my cute classmate, Qian Hui, accidently sms me, telling me about the surprise that they had planned for me. So, it’s no longer secrete nor a surprise for me. Haha.. They still celebrated my 21st birthday although the plan did not work as what they had planned.

For my 21st birthday, the celebrated it in a place called as “Prince”. It’s quite a nice restaurant. And the boss of that shop is a very nice guy. He gave me a cup of ice-cream as my birthday present. We had a great time eating the cakes… sure it tastes nicer and sweeter as I have a lot of good friends accompany me eating the delicious cakes.

From the bottom left, Yip Song is one of my great friends. For me, he is quite a carefree guy who worries about nothing. Although his facial expression looks like he’s tired, he’s an energetic guy. He can joke around and laugh all the way. I think in Ukraine, he is the one that always use “friendship” to encourage me. I still remember the sms that he sent me when I was stress up and sad. He said “Friend, sometimes life will be hard for us, but just face it like a challenge; there will be better future for us. Whatever you do, we will support you and be with you”. Touching right?!

The next is Wei Jin, or known as “ju mau”. Haha.. That is the name that he got when we are in high school.. The origin of the nick, I’m not too sure. For me, he is friend that is quite irritating at first. But the longer you know him; you will know that he is quite a fun guy to hang out with, because you can always bully him. Haha.. Sorry ya… :’P

For Vee Ee, last time in Form 5, I don’t really know him well until this year, august 2008, I know him better and that makes me want to make him as one of my best friends. He is a kind and caring friend. Although he look fierce when he ain’t smiling, when he smile that time, he is cute. Someone once told me that he is as cute as a pig.. Haha… I think that is from his girlfriend. For a week I had been living with him, I think he is a great friend. He is a guy who can keep secrete, loyal to friends and always look so innocent and blur all the times. Haha!! Wonderful that I have a friend that is so special! Irony for a man who knows a lot of great places to eat and yet did not get fat!

Now, for the upper left, Yu Xuan, I had described before. Can see in the pictures that he dresses to kill? Haha! That is what I meant by dare to try different things!
To the right of Yu Xuan, my dearest cute friend, Jeng Siang, is one of my favorites. He has a nice and beautiful face plus he like to try new hair style. For me, he really is one of the carefree guys! Nothing seems to be bothering him in his life. I think mostly he got some issue to deal with in his life. But he won’t let those emotions to take control of him. He likes to bring people to ‘long kai’ or visit a lot of places in his hometown. Indeed he is a fun guy to hang out with as he knows a lot of entertainment around the area that he lives in.

Here is another friend of mine from 5B. Nick name is “ah pek”.. haha.. Actually Shang Hui do not look like one. Just I don’t know how he got that name. I think that time in for 5, I always have conflict with him. But now, he is a good friend of mine. He is funny as he can tell a lot of jokes, mainly perverted and cold jokes. Haha!! Still he is a joker as he can make people laugh till their stomach pain. What I can remember, he is also a kind friend who always try to help people when people ask for his help.

Look like Vee Ee? Not really right? That is his brother Vee Zien. Although I’m not so close with him, I think he also have quite some similar personality with his brother.. He’s quite a cool and wild guy for me as he seldom talk and smile less.. But as far as I know, he is quite a helpful friend. He is a friendly guy too as when he see you are lonely or ain’t talking much, he will approach and chat with you!

And these are the girls of my class. Ain’t they cute and beautiful? They are sporting and stylish. From the left is Qian Hui o known as “bunny”. This is the nick that I gave her as she look like a cute little bunny and she likes to hop around when get excited. She is one of Lord’s servants and seems to be busy everyday in her life. I think mostly because of the church activities. She is kind and nice and indeed she is a very smart girl.

For Yvonne, last time she was quite tomboyish, but now, look at her, look so beautiful and charming. But she still has the same attitude, choosy and wild. Haha.. Whenever we walk together in a shopping complex, she will disappear like a wind if you did not observe her just for a minute because she is too obsessed with shopping. Whenever she saw something that she likes or attractive, she will just went in and shop without telling anyone.

And for Shin Chin, I’d describe her right after Bryan. She looks nice in that dress, right? She know how to dress and make up as she is quite a modern girl.

The last is Siew Wen. She is one of my hometown friends. I still remember I always bullied her when we were young. That time I just don’t know why I’m having so much fun teasing her and making her angry. Haha.. She is quite a talkative friend as she can talk everything under the sky.

That is all about my great old friends from 5B! The memories that I had with them will forever be crave in my heart. Whenever I’m stress up or sad, thinking of them, I feel so happy and touch as I know that I’m being surrounded by a bunch of pleasant friend that always be there to support me. It’s my pleasure to have you all as my good friends. Be proud of yourself friends!

It’s my 21st BIRTHDAY!!!! Yeah!!! I’m 21 year old!!! Never in my life have I expected anyone to celebrate it for me, as on 26th of august was my flight to Ukraine. The joyfulness that I had that time cannot be described… what I know was, I’m so touched till I felt like crying. The feeling just keeps on pouring out within me. Deep within my heart, my soul was crying out loud, saying “FRIENDS, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH”!!! While my heart was still pounding fast, I felt like hugging them and gave each one of them a kiss.

It was a surprise birthday party thrown by my newly met friends! I never expected them to know that night was my birthday and as all of them were busy with the course night, I don’t think they will be able to throw me a party. Luckily I don’t have any heart disease. If I do, I think I’ll be dead by now as it’s really a surprise party!

Out of sudden, the light was off and what I saw was Pei Ling carrying a cake. That time I was stunned, staring at them with a blur mind. I cannot believe that was the cake for me!

And this is the first time that I get a birthday cake written “FRIENDSHIP FOREVER” on it. It’s such a beautiful cake. Although I’m so disappointed that I ani’t celebrating my 21st birthday with my family, I’m still so grateful and happy that I am able to celebrate it with my friends!

No matter its old or new friends, all of you are my wonderful and great friend. Although in this world I have my great God and my dearest family, without your existence in my life, I fell like a part of me is missing. Friends are something that is equally important in my life. Thanks you friends for being a part of my life and memory!!! Love you all. I pray that God will always cover you in His blessing!! Till we meet again, please take care! God bless!!
